　　有人在大堂丢了一封信，称安琪在他们手上，要5万元赎金，否则就撕票。全家人大惊失色，秦啸天更是暴跳如雷。正当大家猜测的时候，警察厅长和侦缉队长李福来来到了家中。李福来亲眼看到安琪被挟持，鼎力相救未果，眼睁睁看着安琪被劫走。秦啸天大骂警察无能。秦啸天在交赎金时击毙一歹徒。而这名歹徒竟是秦守成经常坐车的黄包车夫。秦守成却称自己不认识此人，这引起了警察和家人的怀疑。经侦缉队长李福来仔细调查，终于查明了绑匪的住处。当秦家第三次交赎金时，李福来找到了绑匪住所。绑匪拿到了赎金已不知去向。福来在山坡下发现了安琪，她已经昏迷不醒。
